Feel Confident & Prepared for Birth

Private Lamaze childbirth classes tailored to your family's needs, taught by a certified Lamaze International Childbirth Educator.

Private education. Real answers. Your pace.

Most childbirth classes feel generic. One-size-fits-all. Rushed. Crowded rooms. Generic slides. Our classes are different. They're tailored to your questions, your concerns, your situation. You set the pace — whether that's an intensive weekend or four weekly sessions. With Longleaf Birth Co., you get real, evidence-based information from someone who's not just certified, but who's been there. Someone who understands what families actually need to know. No fluff. No filler. Just the education that matters, delivered the way that works for you.

  • How your body prepares for and moves through labor

  • Healthy birth practices and what actually works

  • How to make informed decisions about your birth plan

  • Recognizing the signs of labor with confidence

  • Comfort measures and pain management options

  • Newborn care, feeding, and those first overwhelming days

  • Postpartum recovery for you and your partner

  • How to navigate the unexpected with clarity

  • Complete your childbirth education in a single focused weekend in your home. You'll get undivided attention, personalized answers, and the confidence to walk into your birth feeling truly ready. No crowded rooms, no skipped questions. Just the information that matters, tailored to you.

  • Prefer a slower pace? Spread your education across four weekly sessions and give yourself time to absorb, reflect, and build confidence and community step by step alongside other families.

  • A dedicated one-hour virtual session to build a birth plan that actually reflects your wishes. Together you'll map out your ideal environment, support team, pain management preferences, feeding plan, and immediate postpartum care for you and your baby. You'll also work through "what if" scenarios so you feel prepared for any direction your birth takes.

  • The questions don't stop once your baby arrives. These virtual check-ins — available within the first two months — give you a trusted resource for everything non-medical: infant sleep, feeding, recovery, and anything on your mind. You'll also leave with referrals to the right community support, from lactation consultants to chiropractors.

Push Prep: The Course That Prepares You from the Inside Out

Growing a baby is only half the equation. Push Prep prepares you — your body, your mind, and your birth plan — so you walk into labor feeling ready for all of it.

Co-taught by a pelvic floor physical therapist and a certified doula, this course closes the gap that most birth education leaves open: the space between knowing what to expect and actually feeling prepared for it. You'll leave with the physical tools, the mental framework, and the confidence to show up for your birth on your own terms.

  • You'll learn how to connect with your pelvic floor in a way that can reduce the risk of severe tearing, shorten your pushing time, and support a faster postpartum recovery. You'll also learn how to navigate any birth environment with confidence — how to ask the right questions, advocate for yourself, and build a birth plan that's both informed and flexible. Through all of it, one thing stays constant: you are at the center. Your body, your birth, your choices.

    • 3 self-paced online learning modules — go at whatever speed works for you

    • A printable PDF workbook to guide you through the material

    • Birth prep and postpartum exercises designed specifically for labor readiness (and no, it's not just kegels)

    • Lifetime access, including all future course updates

  • Most birth prep covers one piece of the puzzle. Push Prep gives you both — the doula perspective and the pelvic floor PT perspective, together in one place. You can move through the modules at your own pace, binge them in a weekend, or work through them alongside your partner. However you learn best, this course meets you there. And with lifetime access, it stays with you long after your birth.

  • "Cailey was great at preparing for the birth. She created a pictographic birth plan so that the facility would be able to easily understand our wishes. It is in part because of her preparation that I was able to achieve my goal of a natural, unmedicated birth."
